The Build
This 1989 FJ62 Land Cruiser V8 received a complete tear down and full body restoration here at Land Cruiser Restorations in Belle Plaine, Kansas. After acquiring the Cruiser additional problem areas were discovered and rather than cut corners we took it all the way down and brought it back up to our standards with complete body and paint refinishing. The result was a restored FJ62 Land Cruiser that was done right from the ground up.
The 5.3L Vortec V8 paired with a six speed automatic gave this FJ62 Land Cruiser the kind of power and drivability that makes these builds so popular. Classic looks on the outside, modern performance underneath. A true restomod FJ62 Land Cruiser in every sense.
