Paint and Body, All In House
Every custom Land Cruiser build starts with the body, and ours never gets outsourced. Paint and body work is done entirely on site by our own team. If you’ve found a color you love, online, on another vehicle, anywhere, bring it to us and we’ll match it. Too dark? We can lighten it. Too light? We can darken it. We cut old metal, install new metal where needed, and finish everything with a professional two-stage base coat and clear coat. The result is a finish that looks as good as anything coming out of a high end custom shop, because that’s exactly what it is.
Upholstery Your Way
The interior gets the same treatment. Whether you want the seats reupholstered in a color and pattern that matches your build, or you want the old seats pulled out entirely and replaced with something more comfortable and modern, we handle it all in house. The sky is genuinely the limit on colors and materials. We’ve done it all.
Every Detail, Handled
A custom Land Cruiser isn’t just paint and seats. It’s everything. Updated radio with Bluetooth, touchscreen, and backup camera? Done. New tires and rims in whatever style fits your build? You pick them. Rooftop tent setup? No problem. Subwoofer in the back? Easy. We’ve even built a Land Cruiser for a client who wanted to go completely off the grid, full satellite connectivity, capable of operating entirely independent of cell towers and conventional infrastructure. It took vision, research, and problem solving, but we made it happen. That’s one example of many. If you can dream it up, we can figure out how to build it.
We'll Tell You the Truth
Not every Cruiser is worth building on. If you send us a Land Cruiser and the rust is too far gone, we’re going to tell you straight. Investing thousands of dollars on a compromised foundation isn’t something we’re willing to recommend, even if we could take your money and do the work. That’s not how we operate. We’d rather point you toward a better candidate and build you something that’s going to last than take on a project that isn’t going to serve you well in the end. Honesty is part of every conversation we have.

What does a custom Land Cruiser build include?
A custom build covers everything, paint color and style, interior materials and design, audio and navigation, wheels and tires, engine and drivetrain choices, suspension, bumpers, lighting, off-road accessories, and any specialty features you want. Every element is selected by you and built in house by our team.
Do I need to provide my own Land Cruiser?
No. Many clients come to us with a Cruiser they already own, but plenty of others don’t. We actively source rust-free trucks worth building on, so if you have a vision but no donor truck, we can help find the right foundation.
Can you match a specific paint color?
Yes. Bring us a reference, a photo, another vehicle, an online image, or any color you’ve fallen in love with, and we’ll match it. We can also adjust colors lighter or darker to get exactly what you want. All body and paint work is done in house.
Which Land Cruiser series do you build on?
We build on every FJ series including FJ40, FJ55, FJ60, FJ62, FJ70, FJ80, and 100 Series. Each platform has its own strengths, and we’ll help you figure out which is the right foundation for the build you have in mind.
Do you tell clients when a truck isn't worth building on?
Yes, always. If the rust is too far gone or the truck has been compromised in some way that won’t serve you long-term, we’ll tell you straight and recommend finding a better candidate. We’d rather point you toward the right foundation than take on a project that won’t last.
How long does a custom Land Cruiser build take?
Most full custom builds take six to twelve months depending on scope, customization, and current shop schedule. We provide regular progress photos throughout the build so you always know where things stand.
Do you work with out-of-state clients?
Yes. We serve clients all over the country and coordinate transport to and from our Belle Plaine, Kansas shop. Free delivery is included on completed builds.
