Mechanical and Performance
The drivetrain on this FJ62 Land Cruiser has been gone through completely. Every system inspected and serviced, all fluids replaced, all leaks addressed. The radiator has been flushed with fresh coolant, the brake system flushed with fresh fluid, and new oil and transmission filters installed. The front knuckles have been rebuilt, a major maintenance item that has already been handled. Suspension is upgraded with Old Man Emu 2.5 inch lift and a steering stabilizer for improved ride quality and off road handling. The air conditioning has been converted to R134a and charged, the full undercarriage has been coated for long term corrosion protection, and a new trailer plug has been added.
Interior
The cabin of this restored FJ62 Land Cruiser has been completely redone from the floor up. All new carpet with sound deadening treatment on the wheel wells and floor pan keeps road noise and heat out. Seats, door panels, and cargo area have been reupholstered in premium automotive grade vinyl, clean looking and easy to maintain. A custom Land Cruiser Restorations center console with matching padded armrest adds a touch that is unique to our builds. The dash has a new cover, crack free and fresh. A Kenwood double DIN head unit brings modern infotainment into the vintage cabin, paired with upgraded JL Audio speakers and a backup camera.
Exterior
The body and paint on this FJ62 Land Cruiser were done professionally in house, base coat and clear coat in OEM Toyota Silver, color code 147. The body is rust free throughout, no shortcuts taken. New windshield and weather seals have been installed, leak free and crystal clear. Rolling on new 16 inch Pro Comp wheels with BFGoodrich KO3 All Terrain tires in 285/75R16, with wheel spacers for improved track width. Custom Land Cruiser Restorations rock sliders finish off the exterior with added protection and a rugged look that fits the build.
