1988 Factory-Correct FJ62 Toyota Land Cruiser Restoration
This 1988 FJ62 Toyota Land Cruiser is a factory-correct restoration that came out of our shop and went home with a buyer who wanted a classic Cruiser kept exactly as Toyota built it. No V8 swap, no custom modifications, just a true restoration that honors the original. This one has been sold, but it’s a great example of the factory-correct work we do alongside our V8 conversions and custom restomod builds.
About This Factory-Correct FJ62 Restoration
The FJ62 was Toyota’s upscale evolution of the Land Cruiser line, produced from 1988 to 1990. With its rectangular headlights, fuel-injected 3F-E engine, automatic transmission, and creature comforts like power windows and locks, the FJ62 represents a turning point in Land Cruiser history. This 1988 example was preserved and restored to factory specifications, keeping every detail true to how it left the Toyota factory.
