This restored 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 was a rust free New Mexico Cruiser with 230,000 miles on the clock that was gone through completely and built right before it found its new home. No bondo, no rust, just a solid FJ60 Land Cruiser platform treated the way these machines deserve.
Exterior
This 1987 FJ60 Land Cruiser was refinished in Toyota Royal Blue, color code 8B2, with a professional two stage base coat and clear coat. Five new BFGoodrich tires on five new Pro Comp rims gave it an aggressive stance. A custom triple bar front bumper, custom rear bumper with tire carrier, and custom roof rack were all powder coated black. Custom rock sliders powder coated black and new HID headlights rounded out an exterior that looked as capable as it was. The full undercarriage was treated with 3M rubberized topcoat for long term protection.
Interior
The cabin of this restored FJ60 Land Cruiser was completely redone. New headliner, custom door panels, custom rear cargo panels, new carpet and padding throughout including the drop gate, and a new dash overlay gave the interior a clean and finished look that matched the quality of the exterior work.
Mechanical
This 1987 FJ60 Land Cruiser received a full engine tune up, all new OME suspension including springs, shocks, and steering stabilizer, and a complete brake inspection and repair as needed. The choke cable pull knob was replaced with an OEM unit keeping everything correct to the platform.
