Lake effect snow, hard winters, and roads that get salted from October through April mean that any truck that has spent its life in western New York has been through the wringer. But Buffalo also has serious access to great driving country. The Allegheny National Forest is right across the Pennsylvania border to the south. The Finger Lakes region stretches to the east. The Adirondacks are a few hours away and the backroads of the Southern Tier wind through some genuinely beautiful country. Whether you want a factory correct restoration, a full LS V8 conversion, or a custom build ready for the Allegheny and the backroads of the Southern Tier, we’ve done it and we know how to do it right. Every build is handled in house from start to finish, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, electrical, interior, and paint, and road tested before it ever leaves our shop.
A Word About Buffalo Trucks
We’ll be straight with you, Buffalo is one of the toughest environments in the country for a truck’s undercarriage. Road salt, snow, and decades of freeze-thaw cycles do serious damage. When we source a Land Cruiser for a Buffalo client we look hard at the frame, the floors, and the rockers. Sometimes the right move is to bring in a rust-free truck from somewhere drier and build from there. We do that regularly for Northeast clients and we’ll tell you honestly what makes the most sense for your situation.
