We’re Land Cruiser Restorations, a family owned shop based in Belle Plaine, Kansas, and we’ve been building, restoring, and selling Land Cruisers for clients across New England for over 20 years.
Boston is the front door to some of the best driving in the Northeast. The White Mountains of New Hampshire are two hours north. Vermont’s Green Mountains and the dirt roads of the Northeast Kingdom are right there. Maine’s western lakes region, Baxter State Park, and the remote logging roads of Aroostook County stretch for hundreds of miles to the north and east. New England has a quiet reputation for serious off-road country and the people who know it don’t need to be told twice. A properly built Land Cruiser fits this part of the world like it was designed for it — because in many ways it was.

Distance is never a problem. We handle all transport at no cost to you — we lift our fingers so you don’t have to. From pickup to delivery, it’s covered. You don’t have to drive it anywhere or figure out logistics. We handle it completely.
What We Build
We specialize in full Land Cruiser restorations and custom builds across the entire lineup — FJ40, FJ55, FJ60, FJ62, FJ70, FJ80, and 100 Series. Whether you want a factory-correct restoration, a full LS V8 conversion, or a build ready for the White Mountains and the logging roads of northern Maine, we’ve done it and we know how to do it right. Every build is handled in house from start to finish — drivetrain, suspension, brakes, electrical, interior, and paint — and road tested before it ever leaves our shop.
A Word About New England Trucks
New England winters are hard and the roads show it. Road salt, freeze-thaw cycles, and decades of tough weather take a serious toll on any truck that has spent its life here. We know exactly what to look for when sourcing a New England Land Cruiser and we know how to assess what’s worth building on and what isn’t. Sometimes the smartest move is to source a rust-free truck from somewhere drier and ship it in — and we do that regularly for Northeast clients.
