This imported 1990 HJ61 left-hand drive turbo diesel is not only a hard find in the U.S. but rust FREE too! The 12H-T 4.0L is mated to the 5 speed manual transmission with 329,742 km on the clock or 204,892 miles! The 3982 cc inline 6, 12 valve turbocharged direct injection diesel is not only reliable but loaded with plenty of POWER and TORQUE! Win-Win!
The engine was stripped down to the block and fully resealed and then an upgraded Kinugawa turbo and DEA 3” turbo back exhaust were installed; the 12H-T now breathes easier. The boost was kept down but the next owner has the parts in place to up the boost for an increase in power should one desire. This model features a 5 speed manual transmission, two speed transfer case with manual front locking hubs. The previous owner kept this Land Cruiser in great condition and it shows not only on the body and original graphics, but the frame and undercarriage. New springs, shocks, and bushings have been installed and the interior is all original with the exception of the tailgate panel and front seat bottom cushions. This Cruiser is mechanically sound and runs exceptionally well with lots of extensive recent maintenance. The Ironman lift kit easily clears the 33×12.50×15 BFG a/t tires which are mounted on a BWA Todoterreno 14 Spoke Wheels (7×15 Offset -20)
