Is There A 2 Door FJ Cruiser?
The Toyota FJ Cruiser, originally introduced in 2006, was primarily available as a four-door SUV with rear-hinged, half-sized rear doors for easier access to the back seats. There has not been a production version of the FJ Cruiser offered with only two doors.
The FJ Cruiser’s design was inspired by the classic Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, which was a two-door SUV. While the FJ Cruiser emulated some design elements of the FJ40, it was designed as a modern interpretation and was only produced as a four-door model.
While Toyota hasn’t officially produced a two-door version of the FJ Cruiser, there have been aftermarket modifications and customizations where enthusiasts have converted the four-door model into a two-door configuration. These modifications typically involve removing the rear half doors, adjusting the roofline, and making other alterations to create a more traditional two-door appearance. These custom conversions are not factory-made and are not commonly available.
